Membership
of the Chocolate Fountain Association

 

One of the purposes of Membership to any Association or Group of like-minded people is to be able to set standards all members can adhere to for the good of its members and for the good of the clients they serve. The Chocolate Fountain Association has two levels of membership. However the aims, goals and purposes for both types of membership are identical.

Two other memberships include HOTELS that wish to show their commitment to the ethics and standards of the Association, and SUPPLIERS wishing to do the same.

Membership:

 

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

Open to people that run or wish to run a Chocolate Fountain business on a part-time basis, that is, the main portion of their income is not derived from Chocolate Fountains.

Criteria for membership:

• Minimum of THREE satifactory References
• Completion of recognized Health and Hygiene Course (Photo-copy submission of Basic Health Certificate to the Association)
• Photo-copy of Liability Insurance Certificate
• Signed agreement of the standards and ethics policy of the Chocolate Fountain Association
• Upon acceptance (of all of the above) a Cheque for the annual subscription of £125.00

 

PROFESSIONAL MEMBER

Open to people that run a Chocolate Fountain business on a full-time basis, that is their main income is derived from the business of Chocolate Fountains.

Criteria:

• Minimum of FOUR satifactory References
• Completion of recognized Health and Hygiene Course (Photo-copy submission of Basic Health Certificate to the Association)
• Photo-copy of Liability Insurance Certificate
• Signed agreement of the standards and ethics policy of the Chocolate Fountain Association
• Upon acceptance (of all of the above) a Cheque for the annual membership of £140.00.

 

HOTEL MEMBER

Open to hotels that allow Chocolate Fountain to operate on their premise.

Criteria for membership:

• Completion of recognized Health and Hygiene Course (Photo-copy submission of Basic Health Certificate to the Association)
• Photo-copy of Liability Insurance Certificate
• Signed agreement of the standards and ethics policy of the Chocolate Fountain Association
• Upon acceptance (of all of the above) a Cheque for the annual subscription of £140.00

 

SUPPLIER MEMBER

Open to all suppliers to the Chocolate Fountain industry.

Criteria for membership:

• Signed agreement of the standards and ethics policy of the Chocolate Fountain Association
• Upon acceptance a Cheque for the annual subscription of £140.00
