Aims and Objectives
of the Chocolate Fountain Association

1. To bring together people engaged in the business of providing Chocolate Fountains (for hire or for sale) and related trades in order to safeguard the interests of people involved in the Chocolate Fountain industry and the general public.

2. To ensure that the minimum qualifications for membership preserves the high standards of The Chocolate Fountain Association by excluding those not interested in upholding standards.

3. To publicize the high standards in all areas of the Chocolate Fountain industry to the general public, organizers and those wishing to hire a Chocolate Fountain.

4. To provide clear identification and recognition for members to enable the public to distinguish them from non-members whom do not adhere to a common set of written standards of Professionalism and ethics, and thus to direct work to members of the Association and away from non-members.

5. To assist all members, and to endeavour to protect them against the growing number of unskilled and opportunist Chocolate Fountain people damaging the integrity of the Chocolate Fountain industry by delivering non-standard work.

6. To encourage members to share and interact in the exchange of views, opinions, and general expertise of and for the good of the Chocolate Fountain industry. To endeavour to unite views, opinions and ideas of members and to bring them to the attention of Government and local authorities in order to safeguard the livelihood and welfare of the members.

7. To promote research within the industry as well as to provide links to further reading or persons within the industry as a whole, for the promotion and wellbeing of the Chocolate Fountain Industry.

8. To recognize outstanding achievement for and within the Chocolate Fountain industry.
