The
Association was formed to help, inform, advise and give
guide-lines to both the general public as well as event
organizers, brides and grooms, wedding planners and Chocolate
Fountain companies.
With
the 'sudden' rise in numbers or as some people would put
it, 'Chocolate Fountain companies are popping-up everywhere!',
there was and is a need for an advisory and regulatory body
to guide not only new Chocolate Fountain companies but also
the general public in terms of health and hygiene standards,
ethics, services and general facilities as well as provide
a legitimate listing of bona fide Chocolate Fountain companies
operating in the UK today.
The
Association is a free-enterprise embracing organization
and feels competition is healthy, good and laudable, however
what it is against is unlawful, unethical and unscrupulous
behaviour by some Chocolate Fountain companies that 'con'
their way into a booking and do not deliver what they state.
Membership of the Association is by election and not by
'whom one knows' or how much one pays to be a member.
The
Chocolate Fountain industry worldwide is relatively new.
Chocolate Fountains have been in existance for just a few
years in the UK. This website is (also relatively) new,
but will build and deliver more and more information as
